Zuma Rose Arant

Zuma Rose Arant, age 74 of Pitts, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 3rd in the Pitts Church of God.Reverend Danny Rhodes will officiate.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the church.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pitts Cemetery. Mrs. Arant was born on March 17, 1941 in Cordele, Ga.She was daughter of the late Ira Hanes Smith and Grace Wade Smith.She was a school teacher with the Crisp County School System and was a member of the Pitts Church of God. Survivors include:husband-Ken Arant of Pitts, son-Herschel (Candee) Arant of Locust Grove, daughter-Jill Arant of Roswell, sister-Idumea Childers of Stockbridge, 2-grandchildren-Lauren and Elliott Arant.
