William G. "Bill" Booker

William G. “Bill” Booker, of Dublin, Georgia, formally of Chipley Florida passed away April 21, 2026 at the age of 76. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, April 24, 2026 at the residence of Nikki Rhodes, 317 Siloam Rd. Abbeville, Ga. 31001. Memorialization will be by cremation.

He was born on September 25, 1949 to Wallace & Gertrude Booker. He was born and raised in Northern Illinois where he served as a Round Lake Illinois police officer for a brief time. He then began his career with Illinois Bell, later moving to Georgia where he continued his career until retirement with Bell South/AT&T. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home.

He is survived by his daughters; Nicole ”Nikki” Rhodes, Jennifer (Lenard) Studley and Kandy Schorer. grandchildren; Chase Parks, Christopher (Monica) Martin, Amanda Powell, Michael (Lauren) Powell, Allison Hunter, Zachary Powell, Stephanie Powell, and Kaylee Studley. Sister; Holly (Craig) Weichers and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Wallace & Gertrude Booker. daughter; Tammy Selzer. brothers; Richard Booker, Wallis Booker. sisters; Roberta Battaglia, June Lintner.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service has charge of arrangements.
