Wilhelmina M. Conner, age 88 of Pitts, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 23rd in the Pitts Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church.Reverend Bill Kent and Reverend Royce Freeman will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Pitts Cemetery. Mrs. Conner was born on May 22, 1925 in Rochelle.She was daughter of the late Henry Mullis and Izetta Smith Mullis.She was a member of the Pitts Baptist Church and was a homemaker.She is preceded in death by a son, Paul Conner. Survivors include:husband-Homer Lee Conner of Pitts, son-Homer Lee Conner, Jr. of Pitts, daughters-Maxine (Furman) Peebles of Rochelle and Kathy (Bruce) Jackson of Pitts, sister-Ruth Rouse of Pitts, 8-grandchildren and 10-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
