Vernelle B. Brown

Vernelle B. Brown age 91, of Middleburg, Fl (Formally of Rochelle, Ga), passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at Lifecare Center of Orange Park. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Cannonville Cemetery. Interment will be held in the Cannonville Cemetery. Dr. Ralph Griffin will officiate.

Vernelle was born on February 8, 1935 in Wauchula, Fl. She was the daughter of the late Jesse King Brady and Bernice Maragret Law. She was employed at Wilcox State Prison for 6 years as a store clerk. She was a former employee at Margate Manufacturing Company, ITHACA Manufacturing Company and Walmart and she was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband- Alvin Brown, a son- Tommy Brown, a brother- John Brady and a sister- Faye Oslund.

Survivors include: sons- Donnie (Lousie) Brown and Randy Brown, a sister- Margaret Paul, 6 grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
