Sarah Joy Mitchell

Sarah Joy Mitchell, age 31 of Atlanta, formerly of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 19th in the King of Kings Christian Church.Visitation will be two hours before the service from 9-11 AM in the church.Brother Ruel McKinney will officiate.Interment will be in the King of Kings Cemetery. Sarah was born on May 2, 1985 in Ashburn, Ga.She was daughter of Thomas Mitchell and Linda Littleton Mitchell.She was a self-employed caregiver and a member of the King of Kings Christian Church. Survivors include:parents-Thomas Mitchell and Linda Littleton Mitchell of Abbeville, brothers-James (Jennifer) Mitchell of Fitzgerald, and Jesse and Joel Mitchell both of Abbeville, sisters-Kathrine (Adam) McKinney of Abbeville and Naomi Mitchell of Abbeville.
