Ruby R. Knight

Ruby R. Knight, age 75, of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at her residence.  She was a retired dietary supervisor with the Wilcox County State Prison, and was a Baptist by faith.

Ruby was born November 14, 1946, in Abbeville, Georgia, to the late Sam F. and Dorothy Goodman Reid.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Knight; and a grandson, Logan Knight.  Survivors include her sons, Wade Knight (Joy Scott), and David Knight (Melissa); her daughter, Lynn Walls (Keith); her brother, Randolph Reid (Betty Sue); her grandchildren, Jazzmine, Kelsey, Michael, Renee, and Lily; 2 Step-grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren

A graveside service will be held Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Creek Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating.
