Rosa Lee Spurling

Rosa L. Spurling, age 91 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home.Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the chapel before the service.Reverend David Clark will officiate. Mrs. Spurling was born on July 28, 1920 in Cadwell, Ga.She was daughter of the late William Udona Strozier and Katie Lee Watts Strozier.She was a retired Seamstress from Margate Manufacturing and was a homemaker.She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Spurling. Survivors include:son-Wayne Spurling of Abbeville, daughters-Jenny Wilcox of Abbeville, Katie Spurling of Abbeville and Susie Sailor of Abbeville, 8-grandchildren and 9-great-grandchildren. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
