Raymond Lee Cason

Raymond Lee Cason, age 87 of Rochelle, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 in the Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle on October 7, 2025. Visitation will be held one hour before the service in the church from 10-11 AM on October 7, 2025. Pastor Richard Compton will officiate. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Mr. Cason was born on August 6, 1938 in Vienna, Ga. He was son of the late Elijah L. Cason and Martha Vanese Cason. He was retired from the Communications Center with the Federal Government. After retirement, he and his wife spent most of their time traveling the United States and he had many hobbies. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle, the Rochelle Masonic Lodge #190, and the Wilcox County American Legion Post #71. He was also a member of the American Racing Pigeon Union. He was an avid gardener and loved fishing.

Survivors include: spouse-Audrey Cason, sons-Eric Cason and Scott Cason, brothers-Oddis (Faye) Cason, Jimbo (Margie) Cason and Lamar (Wanda) Cason, sister-Martha Ann Goff, grandchildren-Jordan Sheets and Catherine Cason, great-grandchildren-Jaxson Shoemaker and Madison Shoemaker.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
