Preslee Elizabeth Jackson

Preslee Elizabeth Jackson, age 7, of Pineview, gained her angel wings Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the Egleston Children’s Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.

Preslee was a second grader at the Wilcox County Elementary School, a cheerleader and marched to her own tune.  She was a girl filled with laughter and love.  She loved helping people and love to make everyone smile.  Preslee was always happy and would light up a room with her smile.  She loved her family, friends, Taylor Swift, the color purple, cucumbers, and pearls.

Preslee was born March 29, 2016, in Tifton, Georgia, to Nick and Kelli Gibbs Jackson.  She is also survived by her brother, Slade Jackson; her grandparents:  James and Debra Gibbs, Allen Jackson, and Joyce Carter; her great-grandparents:  Barbara Gibbs, Joann Cross, and Patricia Camp; aunts and uncles:  Brittany Tanner (Trey), Cassie Tanner (Nick), and Josh Jackson; and her cousins:  Julie and Branson Tanner.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 11th, at 4:30 p.m. in the Wilcox County High School Gymnasium.  Visitation will be on Wednesday evening at Hughes & Wright Funeral Home, Cordele, Georgia, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., and then at the High School Gym from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service.  Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.  Rev. Jimmy Black and Rev. Trey McBryant will officiate.
