Norman Crenshaw of 374 2nd Avenue, Rochelle, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 in the Crisp Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 4th in the Christian Home Baptist Church.Reverend David Clark will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Christian Home Cemetery. Mr. Crenshaw was born on December 28, 1941 in Pitts, Ga.He was son of the late William H. Crenshaw.He was a retired farmer and member of the New Hope Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Crenshaw in December, 2011. Survivors include:Mother-Clara Mae Crenshaw of Pitts, wife-Ellen Crenshaw of Rochelle, brother-Sam Crenshaw of Cordele, sisters-Shirley Grey of Albany, Elaine Strickland of Rochelle, Anita Wright of Cordele, Minnie Bailey of Cordele, Patty White of Atlanta and Gena Moore of Cordele. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, January 3rd in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:Jeremy Crenshaw, Clint Crenshaw, Derek Bailey, Clay Crenshaw, Harry Pfabe, Robert Gray and Evan Bailey. Alex Clements will play prelude and postlude and sing two selections, “Go Rest High On That Mountain”and “Beulah Land”. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
