Mildred Jones Jernigan

Mildred Jones Jernigan, age 78 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2025 in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Reverend Craig Barnette will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Mildred was born on April 27, 1947 in Fitzgerald, Ga. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband- Tommy Jernigan, 2 brothers- David Jones and Perry Jones, and a sister-Irene Bryant.

Survivors include: sons, John (Amanda) Jernigan, Joe (Marlena) Jernigan, a Daughter, Alicia (Mike) Willcuts, 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
