Lee Hollingsworth

Lee Hollingsworth, age 68 of Abbeville, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital in Cochran, Ga. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. in the Abbeville First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 2-3 P.M. in the church. Interment will be private in the Lebanon Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Taylor will officiate.

Lee was born on May 18, 1957 in Hawkinsville, Ga. to the late Bobby Hollingsworth and Joyce Kent Hollingsworth Hunter. He was a 1975 graduate from Wilcox County High School, former manager of the Fast Stop Convenience Store in Abbeville, and Sapp’s Grocery. He was also the former manager at Snipes Finer Foods in Rochelle, Ga. He was a former member of the Wilcox County Board of Commissioners and was also formerly a member of the Abbeville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a faithful member of Abbeville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother-James Hollingsworth.

Survivors include: his wife-Fay Hollingsworth, sons-Brian (Jennifer) Hollingsworth and Bobby (Argent) Hollingsworth, brother-Alan (Lisa) Hunter, sister-Debra Braden, and grandson-Brady Hollingsworth.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
