Laura S. Parks, age 58 of Abbeville, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Tift Regional Hospital. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 3:00 P.M in the Morningside Cemetery. Visitation will be at 2:00 P.M. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the Morningside Cemetery. Dr. Ralph Griffin will officiate.
Laura was born on April 28, 1968 in Palmer, Alaska. She was daughter of the late Norris Eugene Stapleton and Nellie May Shindelbower Stapleton. She was a retired nurse practitioner with the Allergy Specialist of Lake City, Florida. She loved animals, going to the beach, and taking care of people.
Survivors include: husband-Russell Parks, step-daughter-Beth Parks Roberts, sisters-Gina Stapleton and Sherryl Whitt, and grand-daughter-Nora Ann Roberts.
Frazier & Son Funeral Home, 1016 4th Ave, Rochelle, Ga. 31079. and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
