Kenneth E. York II, age 63 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 7 in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.Reverend Howard Gibbs and Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate. Mr. York was born on April 8, 1946 in Miami, Florida.He was son of the late Maizie Helon Gibbs York and Kenneth Emerson York.He was a retired employee from Delphi and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include:wife-Brenda A. York, son-John Marchant, Jr. (Melissa), daughters-Helon “Beth” York McDonald (Kenneth, Jr.) and Kellie M. Wimberly (William L.) and 6-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Saturday in the M. G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
