Kelley Dale Sercer

Kelley Dale Sercer, age 54 of 1304 2nd Avenue, Rochelle, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 27th in the Rochelle United Methodist Church.Visitation will be at 2:00 PM one hour before the service in the church.Reverend Lawton Sammons and Reverend Nancylee Cater will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery. Kelley was born on August 24, 1958 in Hawkinsville.He was son of the late George Sercer and Ruth Kelley Sercer.He was a member of the Rochelle United Methodist Church and was a Blanchard Foreman with Doster Peanut Warehouse.He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was a former Little League and Girl’s Softball coach.He was very active in the community.He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Sercer in 2003. Survivors include:wife-Barbara Sercer of Rochelle, daughters-Kristey (Dustin) Davis of Perry, Shelley (Kim) Kelley of Rochelle and Kelley (Justin) Hanner of Rebecca, step-sons-David and John Nesbit both of Moultrie, brother-Joe (Janet) Sercer of Rochelle, sister-Patricia (Bob) Bennett of Pitts, 5-grandchildren-Mayghan and Garrett Hanner both of Rebecca, Presley Kelley of Rochelle and Kaden Sercer and Rydge Davis both of Perry, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Rochelle United Methodist Church or First Avenue Baptist Church. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
