Joyce "Tennie" Smith

Joyce “Tennie’ Smith, age 75 of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 17, 2026 in the Liberty Hill Christian Church at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 6-8 PM at Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Reverend Johnny Cook and Reverend Trey Bishop will officiate. Interment will be private.

Joyce was born on September 5, 1950 in Rochelle, Ga. She was daughter of the late Elmer Harrell and Elizabeth Hardy Harrell. She was a caregiver at Shady Pines Assisted Living. She was a member of Liberty Hill Christian Church. She was a avid outdoors person and liked to collect collectables. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers- C.J. and Henry Harrell.

Survivors Included: husband- Noah “Buddy” Smith, sons- Joseph Smith (Renee), George Smith (Diane), daughter- Beth Aultman (Christopher), brother- Duncan (Patricia) Harrell, uncle- David Hardy, grandchildren- Trey Bishop, Allie Smith, Gabe Smith, Libby Smith and Wyatt Smallwood.
