Joyce R. Miller

Joyce R. Miller, age 68 of Abbeville, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026 at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 30th in the Lebanon Cemetery. Pastor Richard Rhodes will officiate.

Mrs. Miller was born on February 28, 1958 in Fitzgerald, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Joseph Rhodes, Jr. and Carolyn Baldwin Rhodes. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved old westerns and Mayberry RFD. She was a sweet, kind and gentle soul. She met everyone with a smile and kind words and a hug. She was a very loving person to her family and everyone she met. She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Joseph Rhodes, Jr.

Survivors include: mother-Carolyn Rhodes, devoted husband of 43 years-Bobby N. Miller, brother-Samuel Richard Rhodes (Ramona), sister-Vickie Solis (Michael), nephew-Richard Thomas Rhodes (Rebecca) and niece-Jessica R. Almodovar (Daniel) and several other nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Remarkable Hospice of Dublin for their kind and loving care.
