James F. Faircloth

James F. (Jim)Faircloth, age 78 of Cochran, formerly of Chester, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016.A graveside service will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, July 16th in the Union Cemetery with Military Rites.Reverend Jay Moore and Reverend Jim Faircloth will officiate. Mr. Faircloth was born on September 19, 1937 in Dania, Florida.He was son of the late Arthur Faircloth and Mildred Nelson Faircloth. He was a machinist with Brown and Williamson.He served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Faircloth and a grandson, Wade Jarriel. Survivors include:daughters-Tracey (Terry) Miller, Nancy Davis (Alton Dunagan), Paula (Terrell) Thompson and Kellie Jarriel (John Zorn), sister-Janet Cowan, grandchildren-Kristen Stokes, Chance Fennell, Ashley McKinney, Ryan Davis, Clint Jarriel, Lee Jarriel, Matt Thompson and Paige Cannon, great-grandchildren-Conner Peebles, Joshua Stokes, Noah McKinney, Talon McKinney, Eli McKinney, Cooper McKinney, Blake Overton, Levi Jarriel, Austin Jarriel, Tripp Jarriel, Brooklyn Stark, Brylee Stark and Abigail Cannon.
