Jack Edward Greene

Jul 13, 1965 — Aug 28, 2026

Warner Robins. Georgia

Jack Edward Greene (affectionately known to family and friends as Eddie) was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on 13 July 1965 to Charles and Jeanne Greene. Eddie graduated from Wilcox County High School in 1983. He attended technical school in Americus, Georgia after which he went on to have a 39 year career at Robins Air Force Base.

Eddie loved fishing, traveling and spending time with friends and family (especially his grandchildren), and his four-legged constant companions-his dogs Charley and Bolt. Eddie had a great sense of humor, a helping hand, along with a smile and wave for everyone whose path he crossed.

Eddie passed away on August 28, 2026, from Stage 4 kidney cancer and bladder cancer. Eddie is survived by wife Diana, brother Tony Greene (Denise), daughter Ashley Howard (Buford), stepdaughter Christina Elling, stepson James Elling, daughter-in-law Ashley Greene, and grandchildren Haylyn Howard, Keagan Howard, Bo Greene, Case Greene and Sawyer Greene, and a large extended family.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his son Joel Greene.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society. Per Eddie's wishes there will be an informal graveside service on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in the Morningside Cemetery. Rev. Joel Owens will officiate.
