Hollan Allan Wilson, Jr.

Hollan Allan Wilson, Jr. age 77, of Pineview, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Hollan was born on April 4, 1949, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late Hollan Wilson, Sr. and Charlye Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bobbie Nell Wilson.

Hollan dedicated much of his life to serving his community and supporting the agricultural industry he loved. He served as a member of the Pineview City Council for two years and as Mayor of the City of Pineview for 17 years. Throughout his more than 50 years in the cattle business, Hollan built lasting friendships and meaningful relationships with people throughout the agricultural community. His commitment to Pineview, agriculture, and the people around him was a defining part of his life and legacy. 

A devoted father and grandfather, Hollan is survived by his three sons, Allan Wilson (Rebecca), Jeffery Wilson, and Dustin Wilson; his granddaughters, Erica Wilson, Elise Wilson, and Ella Wilson; and his great-grandson, Kylo Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in Pineview, Georgia. Visitation will be held on hour prior to the service at the church. A private interment will follow at the Wilson Family Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks the memorial contributions be made in Hollan's honor to support the next generation of cattlemen and women. A memorial scholarship fund is being established through the Pulaski County Stockyard to help young people pursue their passion for agriculture and carry the cattle industry forward. Contributions to this fund will serve as a lasting tribute to Hollan's love of the cattle industry and his commitment to helping future generations succeed. 

Hollan will be remembered for his dedication to his community, his love of agriculture, the friendships he built throughout his life, and the lasting impact he made on the people and industry he cared so deeply about.
