Henry A. "Ott" Mitchell

Henry A “Ott” Mitchell, age 62 of Abbeville, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2025 in the Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 2-3 pm in the church. Rev. Jacob Martin will officiate. Interment will be held in the Christian Hill Cemetery.

Henry was born on April 28, 1963 in Eastman, Ga. He was the son of the late Henry A. Mitchell and Willie Bell Brigman Mitchell. He was a retired floor tech with Three Rivers Health & Rehab. He was a member of Christian Hill Free Will Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Fitzgerald Water Light & Bond Co, Haulmark Cargo, and Forest River Cargo. Also, he loved to do woodworking, planting flowers & Painting.

Survivors Include: wife- Sandra Mitchell, daughter- Paige Mitchell, brothers- Wayne (Paula) Martin, Willie (Dianne) Martin, and Ray (Sandra) Martin, sisters- Joyce (Ronnie) Cross, Vernona Broad, and Cathy McMillan, grandchildren- Caleb, Lauren, Brantley, and Addy, and a great granddaughter- Aaliyah.
