Gladys Gordon Studstill

Gladys Gordon Studstill, age 88 of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, June 16th in the Abbeville United Methodist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 3-4 PM in the church.Pastor Jonathan Brown will officiate.Interment will be in the family plot in the Lebanon Cemetery. Mrs. Studstill was born on August 27, 1927 in Pitts, Ga.She was daughter of the late Thomas Hardy Gordonand Benton Gregory Gordon.She was a member of the Abbeville United Methodist Church, The Church Choir and the Gladys Cannon Sunday School Class.She was a homemaker and Nursery Teacher for over 40 years.She was widower of the late John Colquitt Studstill. Survivors include:sons-Gordon (Liz) Studstill of Abbeville and Joseph (JoJo) Studstill of Abbeville, 4-grandchildren-Matthew, John, Caleb and Anthony Studstill. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Abbeville United Methodist Church, 223 Broad St. South, Abbeville, Ga. 31001.
