Fran Helms

Fran Helms, age 59 of Pitts, passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2025 in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 1-2 PM. Interment will be in the Stubbs Cemetery. Reverend Trey McBryant will officiate.

Fran was born on April 30, 1966 in Fitzgerald, Ga. She was the daughter of Bonnell Stephens Helms and the late Gerald D. Helms. She was employed by Ethica Manufacturing Co. as a seamstress. She attended Wilcox County Schools, received her High School Diploma and College Degree through American School of Correspondance, the first Nationally Accredited Correspondance Course School. She was a member of Pitts Baptist Church.

Survivors include: mother-Bonnell Helms, friend and caregiver Lisa (Royce) Donahoo, and numerous cousins.
