Ellen Davis Bass

Ellen Davis Bass, age 79 of Vienna, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Shady Pines Estate in Abbeville.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 3rd in the Siloam Baptist Church.Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2-3 PM in the church.Reverend Joey Boney and Reverend Tommy Baker will officiate.Chrissy Churchwell will do a eulogy.Interment will be private for family only. Mrs. Bass was born on January 12, 1940 in Abbeville, Ga.She was daughter of the late Robert Davis and Nora Lee McKie Davis.She was a retired teacher with the Department of Corrections.She was a member of the Siloam Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bass. Survivors include:daughters-Cindy McCall McAnally of Abbeville, Wendy (Michael) Cox of Richmond Hill, Kim (Russell) Morgan of Warner Robins and Jody (John) Roberts of Abbeville, sisters-Linda (Jake) Keen of Abbeville, Dianne (Tommy Joe) Marchant of Milan and Shelia (Andrew) Keen of Abbeville, brother-George Robert "Bo" (Karen) Davis of Ocilla, 7-grandchildren and 4-great-grandchildren.
