David Clinton, 71, of Pitts, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Georgia. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
Born on March 17, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, David was the son of the late Joel Francis Clinton and Dorothy May Conner. He spent 25 years doing what he loved as an automotive mechanic at Joe's Shop in Orlando, Florida. Whether diagnosing a stubborn engine or bringing an old vehicle back to life, David took pride in honest work and the satisfaction of fixing things with his own hands.
David lived life with a curious mind and a playful spirit. He loved the outdoors and could often be found enjoying nature whenever he had the chance. At home, he never outgrew the joy of building LEGO® cars, carefully assembling each piece with the same patience and attention to detail he brought to his work. He also enjoyed spending hours on the computer, always eager to learn something new or simply unwind. It wasn't the size of the adventure that mattered to David—it was finding joy in the moment and sharing it with those he loved.
A man of the Baptist faith, David believed in the importance of family, kindness, and lending a helping hand. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, his quiet strength, his dependable nature, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joel Clinton, and his sister, Sue Lashone Clinton.
Those left to treasure his memory include his loving wife, Judy Clinton; his sons, Brian David Clinton and Scott Spencer Clinton; his brother, Lewis Spencer Clinton; his sister, Cathy May Clinton; his precious granddaughter, Olivia Zhang Clinton; along with extended family members, lifelong friends, and all who were blessed to share in his life.
While his earthly journey has come to an end, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy is not measured by the years he lived, but by the lives he touched and the love he leaves behind.
Frazier & Son Funeral and Cremation Service has charge of the arrangements.
