Danny Lovett

Danny Lovett, age 71 of Rebecca, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2026 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 in the Christian Hill Cemetery in Rochelle. Visitation will be held after the service in the social hall. Rev Jacob Martin and Rev. Dan Lovett will officiate.

Danny was born on September 19, 1954 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. He was son of the late Richard C. Lovett and Mattie Wilkerson Lovett. He was a bus driver for the Turner County School System and was formerly employed with the City of Fitzgerald for 11 years in the Maintenance Department. Danny was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: wife-Mary Lovett, son-Dan Lovett (Christy), daughter-Leighann Hendley (Michael), step-daughter-Jessica Faircloth (Joe), sister-Diane Drury, grandchildren-Gracie Wade, Levi Hudson, Walker Hudson, Lane Hendley, Lucy Belle Hendley, Tyler Collier, Ayden Collier, Micheal Faircloth, and Hannah Faircloth, and great-grandsons-Banks Wade and Bo Hendley.
