Coley L. Britt, age 79 of Pitts, passed away Wednesday, January 15,2025 in the Cordelia Manor Fellowship Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Union Cemetery. Reverend Quillian Barfield will officiate. Visitation will be after the service.
Mr. Britt was born on October 1, 1945 in Cordele. He was son of the late Collis Britt and Lois Crenshaw Britt. He was a Retired Fireman with the City of Cordele. He was a member of Pitts Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Britt, a son, Evans Britt, stepson, Ricky Conselyea and stepdaughter, Debra Forehand, sisters, Vaudine McDaniel, Sandra Ann Caine, Janice Coker and Charlotte Ham.
Survivors include: daughters-Lisa Lamb (Dion) and Loria Hauesler (John), brother, Charles Britt, sisters, Carolyn Benson and Barbara Hilliard, 9-grandchildren and 22-great-grandchildren.
Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
