Carolyn Wonder Flavell

Carolyn Wonder Flavell, age 76, of Abbeville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at her residence.  She was a bookkeeper with the Lake-Sumter Community College Foundation, and a booking officer/dispatcher/and jail guard with the Bristol Bay Borough Police Department.  She was a Baptist by faith.

Carolyn was born November 1, 1945, in Ocoee, FL to the late Rev. Baswell Smith and Cornelia Groover Smith of Leesburg, FL.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Francis of Sarasota, FL; and a brother Sterling of Tampa, FL.   Survivors include her husband, Arthur Flavell; her brothers, Earl Smith (Darlene) of Dunnellon, FL, Stewart Smith (Raelynne) of Knoxville, TN, and Marcus Smith of Leesburg, FL; and her sister, Patricia Reeves (Ernest) of Maryville, TN.

A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
