Carol Ruth Gibbs

Carol Ruth Gibbs, age 77 of Rochelle, Ga (Formally of Pitts, Ga), passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Northside Villa Assisted Living. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday September 11, 2025 in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Reverend Billy Harris and Reverend Richard Compton will officiate.

Carol was born on March 29, 1948, in Rochelle, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Duward Raleigh (Nuke) Gibbs and Ruth Mullis Gibbs Rouse. She was a retired Correctional Officer at Wilcox State Prison. She is preceded in death by her son Chris Bucknell in 2020.

Survivors include: a brother- Dennis (Judy) Gibbs, and sisters- Patsy (Roy) Faircloth, Jimmie Lynn (Mark) Harden, Debbie Gibbs.
