Carol Gibbs Arnett

Carol Gibbs Arnett, age 75, of Rochelle, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at her residence.  She was retired from the Ithaca Corp., as a seamstress.

Carol was born September 14, 1947, in Abbeville, Georgia, to the late Ernest J. and Kate Helms Gibbs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Arnett, Jr.; her daughter, Tammie Harrison; three brothers: Randy, Harlan, and Terry Gibbs; and a niece, Darlene Caruthers.

Survivors include her son, David Snelgrove (Sheene); her brothers: Rodney Gibbs (Betty Ann), Jerry Gibbs, and Michael Gibbs; her sister, Glenda Lewis; her special sisters-in-law: Frances Ross, Bobbie Gibbs, and Linda Gibbs; twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, July 14th, at 10:00 a.m. in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Gibbs officiating.  A private burial will be in Cannonville Cemetery.  Visitation will be after the service at the funeral home.
