Brenda "Big Granny" Joyce Rose

Brenda Joyce “Big Granny” Rose, age 78 of Pitts, passed away Sunday August 17, 2025 at her residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Rose was born on October 25, 1946 in Milton, Florida. She was daughter of the late John Henry Linzy and Antie Mae Hughes Linzy. She was a member of the Pitts Church of God and loved working in vegetables during the summer months. She was a retired store manager with Texaco Oil Company in Plant City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband-Rexford Carlton Rose, daughter-Lee Ann Green, seven sisters- Jewell Gould and Leona Coone, Annett Carlton, Pauline Lehman, Robbie Carlton, Ellen Smith, and Margaret Middlebrooks, two brothers-Ommer Linzy and Elmer Linzy.

Survivors include: son- Jeffrey (April) Rose, grandchildren- Michael Todd Green, Skylar Britt, Courtney Rose, Joshua Rose, and Dylan Rose, great grandchildren- Colten Rose, Jayden Hatcher, Alexa Hatcher, Kaylynn Hatcher, T.J. Green, Mackenzie Green, Mason Green, Marley Green, Karley Green, Cayden Brock, Gavin Nutt, and Garrett Brock, great-great-grandchildren- River Hall and Ruby Rose.

Frazier and Son Funeral and Cremation service is in charge of arrangements.
