Beatrice Brown Land age 81 of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Rochelle, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 in the Community Hospice Center in St. Augustine, Florida.Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3rd in the family plot in the Cannonville Cemetery in Abbeville.Pastor Mike Brown will officiate. Mrs Land was born in Wilcox County December 9, 1934.She was daughter of the late George Sheffield and Cora Luther Sheffield.She was a homemaker and member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include:daughter-Sandra Brown of Green Cove Springs, Florida, sons-Mike Brown of Cross City, Florida and Allan Brown of Middleburg, Florida, sister-Effie Harden of Abbeville, step-daughter-Mary (Bobby) Adams of Rochelle and step-son-David (Barbara) Land of Beebe, Arkansas, 6-grandchildren and 10-great-grandchildren also survive. Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.
